as u can tell from the pic my car is all black, theres a few things that are still chrome. should i get the chrome strip around the window(kida matches the rims) and the ls signs painted black. also should i get my tails and side markers tinted?
grey did u get urs back yet?
the bottom pic is NOT my car, but it gives u an idea of the trim painted.
everyone has there opinion, so ill take anything, likes/dislikes

I think your car looks really good the way it is, I like the contrast of the red tails with the black, and also the rims with the chrome trim...
 
I get my tail lights back on Saturday. I'll let you know what they look like and post some pics. I'd say that if you like it then do it. I like the mono-chromatic look.

What wheels are those? are they 19's?
 
daddy not taking away from your car but who's car is the other pic. of? That thing is NIIIICCEE! I like the black with some chrome though.

you dont like that kids interior? i think its hott with the Louie Vitton... and by the way, i think you should keep the chrome trim around your windows, maybe tint your tails a light or a medium but i like the red n black contrast, and tint your side markers, i think tinting them would work better for you and the clears would work better for me cause of my chrome strip... i think you should throw the LSE grill on yours too, to put in a lil more chrome

black it our man. It looks great! absolutely :qing fantastic. It is what I have wanted to do to mine.

I just detailed a 2002 Audi S4 with the RS4 conversion (bigger turbos, intake, exhaust, chipped, lowered, big brake setup, etc) with a set of 255/35/R19 mounted on 3 piece wheels. Anyways, the car was black and the only chrome on it was surrounding the front grill and around the B-pillar but instead of shiny chrome, it was black chrome. It looked sweet as hell. If I were you, I would do something like that. I would also black out your marker lenses.....leave the tails.

I personally like the bright work breaking up the sea of black. that's just me though.


what do I know, the LS is Silver Frost.

The Gt is Black on Black Leather (and I mean real leather, I reupholstered the car myself).

holy cow... I just had a flashback to USN boot camp when you used the term bright work.

I remember coming int the chow hall and you know how the navy is with brass, if not they have bras on everything, and it has to be shinned. I can remmebr the guys yell hands off my bright work... move my line... nut to but get to know your neighbor. jeez and they would repeat it constantly. So imagine standing in a 60 foot chow line and they sitting at the table for about 30 mints 3 times a day for 90 days. Whoa!

I have the urge to go shine some brass bells. My wife will be happy now becasue my daughters room is full of brass bells, her name is Annabelle, so everyone has been buying her bells.

I happen to have a can of never dull in the closet i us to shine my trenz billet grill.

I love your ride, I would get that chrome around the windows painted, paint the side markers black, Limo tint all windows
 
looks good as is. You could though add some of the two-color tailights, maybe add some cutouts for straight chrome exhaust tips (much like the mewer models have). The painted window surrounds look tight too.
 
I'm still kinda indifferent with spoilers/wings on the LS. Sometimes I think it looks good sometimes not.

itsnotmydaddys...the car looks great. Can't wait to see it in person...wait...I live like 20mins from you. Well, hopefully you'll make it up to Chi-town for the meet.

Anyway, I say black out the taillights but leave the chrome on the windows. Or go the black chrome route. Just my $0.02...
 
I'm partial to the all black trim around the windows. That's a mod I've been wanting to do. Let me know how it goes if you do it.

Yeah Ifall in and out of love with the spoliers on a daily basis.

I considered the two tone tail lights but decided that I like the all red appearance much more.

i want to get a spoiler but it would be one of those lip spoilers where it sits on the trunk, like the 02 or the o4 LSE spoilers... havent decided which one i like better... as for the tail lights, i think the mclaren ones are too expensive and dont really do nuttin for me... the all reds look hotter in my opinion

I never really liked the two tone tail lights...looked too much like a mid to late ninties honda accord to me... But then again, Ken seems to pull it off on his LS. But that's HIS...and that's one LS you could never confuse with such crud.
