2002 V8 non sport.
Engine light came on the other day, turns out its running lean from what I'm pretty sure is a vacuum leak. P0171 is the only code, running lean on bank 1. Still running pretty smooth, just seems to be a little rough at idle.
Pretty sure I just need to replace the fuel injector line that runs to the idle air control valve as there is a large crack in the line right at the t fitting. (circled in red below)
Found the factory replacement here for $115. http://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts/ford-hose-asy_xw4z-9e964-aa.html
My question is does anyone know what size lines and fittings you would need to fabricate a custom line on your own?
Seems like you would be able to do it for under $50 if you just bought the lines and fittings and put them together yourself, I just have no clue what sizes would be needed and where to find the proper fittings.
