Hey guys I got like 3 dings and some straches taken out of my car so I got my passanger door and the rear door painted the front bumper painted and he fixed my trunk it was sitting up a little bit he charged me 1200.

Im picking it up tommarow so I can take pics but do paint jobs usually cost around that price? i got every panel done but my hood, trunk, driver door, driverpassangerdoor, driver front fender and driver back fender, rear bumper.

was it 1200 for the paint only?? or for everything.....I know a good paint job can cost 900+ at least thats what my grandfather is charging....

It's the labor that gets you. Sounds like they did it right: removed the panels, painted and reassembled. If they did it right, then 1200 is certainly in the ballpark for several body panels. It's cheaper to have them mask it because it's so much quicker, but if you're keeping the car, then it's probably worth it to go the extra mile.
that pretty much sums it up.. u get waht u pay for.. i know a place that will charge 500 to paint a whole car.. but ur gonna get :q:q:q:q.. to do a job like that.. i would see an estimate of about 1000... i got an estimate for a scratch on my driver side quarter panel.. they want to charge me 400 to take off the bumper.. mask the door.. and paint the quarter up to the roof.. but they use the best quality paint and its all insured and with warranty and Blah Blah Blah.. long story short.. u get what u pay for.. jus hope it matches color
