is that a 8.8 or 7.5 rear?

They are 8.8, IIRC.

Ya same thing as a Mark viii lsc with 3.27 gears.

The SC rear is a 3.27TL, however it is an iron housing as opposed to the MarkVIII's aluminum housing. It will work, but you'd probably be better off taking the diff out and swapping it over to your housing.

Too much work to save 13lbs or whatever the difference is...

I actually have a 90 SC... but I can't think of any parts I need for it.
