My passenger side IMRC is stuck open. I stuck my hand behind the passenger head and found the cable to be broke off from the motor. What's the best way to go about fixing this? Replacing the IMRC motor? How easy is it to access?

Pull wiper cowl and you have all the room in the world...if cable is snapped I'm pretty sure it's part of the imrc control...make sure well back there that the runners are not siezed...mine was stuck and was throwing code...got back there unhooked cable a little wiggle with my hand and it was free again that was over a year ago and no more trouble code...some have to take upper intake plenum off to free them up

My cables are good the unit itself seems to be bad. Either way I'll be watching.

The good news is I don't have a stuck open IMRC as the code revealed. The bad news is the the cable on the passenger side broke and came completely out of it's casing, so I need a new IMRC actuator.
