searched some thread and found one of my problems. PATS blinks once then 6 times. While i drive for a minute or so the blinking goes away. Thread suggested a PCM relay needing to be changed. Owners manual didnt come with my car and dont want to just start yanking out fuses i dont know about in fear of screwing something else up in this sensitive car. Is that a PCM power relay i need to switch out or something else? is it marked on the fuse box under the hood or not? thee thread only indicated to change the pcm relay but didntt say where the relay was located besides saying under the hood. 2003 LS v8 thanks in advance for comments and help... im off to work now working nights so ill check back in the morning.

The PCM relay is one possible cause for a PATS code 16. The troubleshooting guide says to verify the power and ground connections to the PCM and to investigate the CAN bus.
It's relay 14 under the hood. The manual shows your which one that is.

I have only owned the car for about 5 months but during my time with it has only sat at most 2 days. its happening every third or fourth day always when i wake up to leave for work. doesnt do it when i make a lot of stops running erands during my off days. seen a few diagrams online of fuse diagram but wasnt sure what relay would need to be changed exactly... is this another part(fuse) id need to get from the dealer?

It's a relay, not a fuse. You should be able to get it from just about any auto parts store. You might try swapping it with one of the other relays first.

The Controller Area Network bus is not in the manual in any useful way. It consists of several of the electronics modules and some wiring. You need some fairly advanced tools and some technical knowledge to do most troubleshooting of the CAN bus.
Another thing to check is the condition of your battery.
