I have a 96 continental with recurring error codes 171 and 174. I've researched the codes and found lots of info on them. I've cleaned the MAF, going to replace fuel filter. went to replace the PCV valve and found its boot cracked. traced the hose to T connector that's cracked, too. also found lots of info indicating the 171 and 174, lean mixtures errors, are likely due to unmetered air in the system from cracked hoses.

so.. I have a shop manual, found the part numbers (9e498 for pcv elbow and hose; 6C324 for the "connector" assembly). one local dlr us useless, another down the road gave me an updated, complete part number F5OZ6C324A and a price of $93. wait, that's cheap. some outfit in fla, jpforklift.com, has the parts in stock but they want $265 for them.

local parts stores have been hit and miss. found the T connector ($5), but no pcv boot nor any of the other hoses (that I can tell).

anyone know the sizes to the other hoses or somewhere I can get this stuff for less than $90? taking it off the car isn't a good option bc if I cant' find what I need the old cracked parts will never go bakc in place. as it is, it still runs fairly smooth, just not getting the mileage or performance I should.

thanks in advance!
