So I picked up a new 3.0 engine and tranny new from Ford on a pallet. My work purchased it a while back for a project car and never used it. I originally thought it was for a Ranger and the guys on the Ranger forum were able to ID it for me.
My intentions were to find a cheap Ranger and drop it in that. I'm still not sure if I want to keep it for a project or sell it. How hard are the ECU's to come by?

A turbo would be nice on it but the more I think about it I just don't have time for another project. I still have a F100 in pieces. I will probably just sell it.

The v6 does NOT have air assisted injectors on any year. That's an 03-05 3.0 duratec v6. ECU won't be hard to find but i'm not sure how well it works without a body controller to talk to.

Oh, more info. That's a throttle-by-wire setup so you'll need a foot pedal assembly and figure out how it connects to the ecu.

Yeah that sounds like more of hassle than it is worth. Its for sale if you are in the Vegas area.
