Hey fellas,

The wheels i am looking at are 18x8 with 40mm offset. I did some searching on here, it seems that i shouldn't have any problems as far as the fitment goes. Can someone comfirm this?

You're good as far as wheel fitment, just need the right size tires. Are you lowring it too? I say you should or they wont look as good as if you lower your ls.

Thank you. The recommended size tires for the wheels would be 245/40. I will probably stick with that.
I don't know if i will lower it yet. Once i mount the wheels, i will make the decision. I just can't stand driving lowered vehicles. Eibach's should be fine though, since they don't drop it as much.

245/40/18 looks fine but it has to be lowered to look good. If you are not gonna lower i would go with 255/40/18s. What type of wheels are you looking at? 40 offset is good.

I have been sweating over as to which wheels i wanted to go with. And, as to whether or not they would fit right and be to my liking.
Anyways, I never thought buying wheels for your car would be so stressful.

I finally pulled the trigger on TSWs. They should be here in a week, i will put up some pictures then.
Hopefully my tire place has the rubber i want in 255/40/18 so i can have them put those on.

Artur, i might have to get hub centric rings for the new wheels since the bore is few mm larger. I know you have/had them on your car. Where is a good place to get them?

You can get em on ebay too. They have aluminum ones too. Just make sure you get the correct size. Where did you get the wheels from? The rings might be included.

Alright cool. I checked ebay and i found the ones that i need.
I also spoke with the vendor and they said the wheel company normally sends out the rings needed with the wheels, so we will see. I will wait it out and if they are not included, i will just buy them off ebay.

Sweet. I remember you saying you wouldn't buy wheels for your ls because you were going to trade up for a jag. Couldn't resist could you, especially since it looks like everyone decided to jump on new wheels this year.

What vendeor did you order yours from??? I got mine from Victoria tire, and my wheels did not come with the hub centric rings. Then when I called and told them they sent a set (which took like 2 more phone calls and 3 weeks), then when I got them there was 3 of 1 size and 1 of the correct size, so they were still useless. I gave up. Just ordered a set the other day after reading your post because I forgot about it.

lol. I probably put about $2,000 into it in the last few months. Now it drives how it should and it wouldn't make sense to get rid of it now. Plus, i got the monthly payments on the Navigator (you don't wanna know how much is it) and couldn't afford a Jag right now.

I thought about buying mine from them too, but i am glad i didin't. In the first 30 seconds of the converstion, i knew i just didn't like dealing with them.

Instead, i bought them from ebay. They said, they will send the rings with the wheels.

Nick, give these guys a call, they should be able to hook you up with the rings. http://www.wheelsnext.com/

I have had my eyes on them for a while now. I like them a lot. Also, you like the ones by Vline, check out Mavericks made by American racing. You will like them.

Thanks Alax. I can't wait until they arrive.
And, i agree with the drop it will look badass, especially with the lip that the wheels have. Well, they are only going to be 1.5 inches, but good size enough to give that European look.

Go with 19s... You won't regret it.

And yea I remember you saying earlier how you weren't going to have the LS long. Glad you are keepen it and modding further :D

I already put the order in a few days ago. I decided to go with 18s, cause wanted to keep the ride quality close to stock.

Since I am keeping it, might as well dress the car up a bit. Next, I would have to get CAI and I will be DONE.

Aren't those the ones I 'shopped for you a while back? Should look great. Wish we could have some deep lips.. silly high offset.

"Done" is what I said too, but its addictive.

Yes they areeee;). I almost bought the Coventry hornets, but the spokes were a little too plain for me. So, i went with these.

I'm lovin' those wheels Edgar! Definitely post pics when they come in!

Thanks Thomas. And, yea i will definitely get some new pics up. I don't even remember when was last time i snapped pix of my car. It's been a while.

Hit me up if you plan on going somewhere for some nice pics. I'd be up fpr that.

245/40/18 looks fine but it has to be lowered to look good. If you are not gonna lower i would go with 255/40/18s. What type of wheels are you looking at? 40 offset is good.

+1. me and my buddie run 255's on our stock rims n lowering. seems to do a good job as far as handling in the corners. believe we got Goodyear Gt's. he runs em both summer/winter. i just use em in summer.

Just found out my wheels were finally delivered. I am going to test fit them when i get home. You know what that means; be look out for the pictures.
