Pics: Eibachs, Exaust Tips

Those stickers are good for about 15hp. So yeah, put them on!!!

I used the Eibach Pro Kit.... it was a heavy box with 4 springs, nothing else.. .oh wait.. Decals got some of those..

You guys think I should stick em on my fenders?

If you do this yourself, get a good spring compressor, I bought one for $43.xx its actually a 2 piece kit so you can compress both sides of the springs and not have to deal with the accordian thing I experienced another time with a single piece unit.

Mine came in yesterday. Those springs are heavy! I didn't think the set of 4 would be so heavy. Where did you get the tool from?

Check your local autoparts stores. Any of them should have them.

When are you planning on installing them?

Also, you gotta check them off in your mods list.;)

PrepAre to spend alot of time and muscle if you are installing them withmanual tools and no help.

I recommend trying to get somewhere u can use air tools.

Oh yeah. Well thats just my inventory list, things I have bought but haven't installed. I just put the fog angel eyes on 2 weekends ago.But yeah it's on there now :D......I was going to hold off on the eibachs for a while and invest in other things first but since it was a good deal on the for sale thread and no one had jumped on them after 2 weeks I took them. Funny thing, someone new posted a message saying they would pay asap but couldn't send a pm cause he was new and I send a pm a min after his post and beat him to it, not on purpose though, I checked the thread and saw his post was a min before my "PM'd" post. Told the guy I would have it shipped to him if he wanted them, just to pay me back what I paid but he didn't respond so I took them.

My dad will help me.He was a mechanic. He said he use to remove them with home made tools. It wasn't easy but it got the job done and he didn't want to go out and buy something he would only use once a year or something. That tool will be a step up from his methods but still not as easy aswith air tools. It wouldn't be fun if it was easy right

The tips and drop look great. The more I see the lowered LS it makes me wanna do it.

K i'm jealous doing the front end LSE swap this summer and now Im' prob going to drop it also looks sweet! My father says I'll bottom out too much in the city where I live lol gonna have to take the challenge other than that looks good

He is correct...watch the speed bumps

Yea I'm already dreading them, lucky for me I live in nowhere MN and they are few and far between.

Vivid Red is a close second to Silver Birch :D

I wouldn't have done the springs myself with no air tools... will take too long :) Plus getting the sway bar links off I needed the air tools, they wouldn't come off by hand, maybe you'll have better luck though.

What we need is someone to figure out how to make our Rear Camber Adjustable..

How is going with the springs so far in the winter? I really want them but just scared about winters here in michigan.

Honestly I don't know, I drove the car from my brothers shop to my house, and the roads were clear. Due to my tires being useless in winter I can't drive the car on snow or ice anyway.

I drive my 98 Suburban around.

As far as being lowered, I think it would only effect you if the snow were deep.

Here in Michigan, when we get any amount of snow, it is deep.. :D The first snowfall, I got the LS stuck twice... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!! LOL

I bottomed out HARD on a speed bump today. It's been 50 and sunny here, so the LS was out yet again. The speed bump was RIGHT after a right hand turn between 2 parking lots. I still had the wheels turned when I went over. Luckily I did not rip a fender off. But it was a TERRIBLE bottoming out. I had to make sure I didn't leave any parts on the road.

Yikes... sorry to hear about the speed bump..

I had the LS out today since like you said it was 50 or felt like it anyway. I got my first compliment on the car since lowering it.

It really does look good with the chrome 8 spokes.. Hyelife was right :D

not the springs but the tips. Im the one who always makes fun of that camero or mustang thats a v6 with exhasut and big tips bc i sounds like crap.coming from someone who had a mustang gt i think thats why looks good though im thinking about it still lol

It makes people mad, but I creep down the down side, so there is NO suspension compression.
I drop my kid at his school, well outside any speed bumps, cause they are like mountains there. They really really do not want the kids speeding.
Little do they know, the higher they are, the better the burn-out:D

I hear ya. I'm the same way. Just plain did not see the speed bump.
