Pic's of my Grand Marquis

Can someone tell me why they are called Panthers??

I'd love to have a black crown vic PI to go along with my Mark... one day maybe.

Just the name of the platform i beleive. Like caprice's/impala's are b-bodies, thunderbirds/m viii are mn-12 13(?).

Can't remember off the top of my head what the Mark8 is (FN10?), but it is NOT an MN12. Thundertirds and Cougars are MN12's.

So, any luck finding Eibachs (or other brand) for the Marquis?

correct on the #'s
FN-10 Fullsize North american platform #10
MN12 Midsize North american platform #12
the wheelbase on the 2 car are very much the same its the overhangs on the markviii that makes it a "full size" car. putting the doch in the bitd really demonstrated how much closer the radiator support is to the firewall (intake tube/maf/air filter set up from a mark, issue) and the dash seems closer (a lil) in a bird also, at least to me :D

dohc panther

just need engine, radiator and a tourque converter, set of manifolds if you use a mark engine. and of course an xcal 3. iam low impact the only thing i had to modify was the bottom half of the plastic wiper arm box and relocate the battery 2 the trunk. EVERY THING WORKS INCLUDING cruise, check engine light, gagues.

love the wheels on the merc! if they would interchange with a markviii, would you consider trading for some chrome speedstars plus cash? or where could i get a set,and what size are those? mine are 18x9
