Pictures and a video of my LS.

Hello.

I got a carwash today and snapped few pictures of my LS. I am also going to put these on autotrader in few days. Now it has a little over 123000 miles on it. It's a 01 V6 Sport automatic. The color is called Aqua Blue.

I also shoot a short video showcasing my Bosch horns from 67 230SL Mercedes. They are very rare and desirable for some people (me). There are some on sale on Ebay once in a while.

In a little while I am going to remove the bumper so I car take out the horns and the HIDs. I am going to keep these.

Anyways, I removed most of the stuff from the car and now it looks kind of naked.

Thanks guys, yes this car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically. The only thing could be changed is the front stabilizator bar. It makes light knocking sounds when cold, but after about 10 minutes of driving it goes away.

I had this car at the dealer numerous times.

They changed:

Solenoid packs (twice)
Valve body
All 6 coils (one was bad) and spark plugs
frond ball joints
OEM sport shocks
clockspring
engine light was on so they changed the pump that is under the front bumper
1 window regulator
fog lights 3 times (not lately)
I also put ceramic brake pads, so now the wheels don't get dirty.
And I have 5 keys for it, but one remote.

Well and some other stuff that I don't remember right now.

I would keep it, but I want something else, more interesting. I want to sell it at least when it has some value, I don't wanna give it away for $5000...

I'll get another car in about a year.

I remember when I joined back in 2004 when it just started to get off of the ground it was so much fun coming on the forum and now it's just completely lost its luster with Ken Garrison selling his car, you selling your car, me contemplating selling mine, and just the attitude of the members on here anymore. It's kinda like my LvC life just passed before my eyes.

I can agree with that. Now that you mention it, it does kinda feel like you've watched LvC (particularly the LS) life span pass before your eyes. And I've not been here as long as most of you, almost a year to be exact. However, I love my LS and will sadly regret the day that I have to bury it. I've already told my wife that what ever we get next, we'll be trading my truck in on it. Then she can have whatever we get. I'm not letting this car go.

As for the attitude of members, that has sadly regressed as well. As the value of these cars decrease and become more available, so do the values of some of the newer members. I got into one argument within, I believe, the first month of being a member of the LvC community and made an a$$ of myself and learned from it....BTW, thanks ToddG....I became more fond and respective to the longer term members. I used to live for logging onto LvC and catching up after a days work, and still did up until about a month ago. Now, most of the post you read are made out of anger and ridicule. Didn't used to be that way.......Sorry guys, had to blow off a little steam.

Back on topic, HyeLifeLS, you will be missed. Good luck with your next purchase.
