, I'd like to steal his thread for us Mark guys.

Polling Mark VIII Owners
I'd change the questions a little bit:

-year/model
-male or female and age
-miles you drive per day and what type of driving (city/highway)
-what you like best about the MarkVIII
-what you dislike the most about the MarkVIII
-rating of your Mark : use a 5 star * system, 1 being poor (would never buy again), 3 average and 5 best.

'93 and '98: The 2 best years.
Somewhere north of 40.
150miles/day... 20/80 city/highway mix. 28mpg highway
Ride'n with Class, Style and Attitude
Lack of wagon pulling Torque
***** without question

Hmmmm...since I have had 3 of them, (2) 93's and (1) 95....kind of difficult to compare....since they were all base models, but the current one I have has the moonroof......

93 base/customized (of course.....LOL)
35 (ya old bastards!!!) :N
I do not drive it much now, but I would estimate about 10K/year
The luxury/looks
headlights (unless it is an LSC)

-1995
-M
-Suburban driving-30 miles during a school week, and avg in summer is 120 (one day i did over 600 arround town)
-First, its sexy, its a Powerful V8, handles like a god, easy to control, high top speed...and allows confidance to get it up there, the interior is to die for.
- i dislike the problems with the trans, the suspension, the look of the body(parts of it), and the 91 octane it needs
-i give it a 4, but thats just MY car...i WILL buy another mk8 again.

1998 Mark VIII LSC
Male, 23
50-100 rough miles everyday, 18.3 avg mpg.
It's American, it's badass, it blows away the eurotrash and rice cars, and it's fast!
I don't like the price of repairs, insurance, or gas...
I'd give it a 5. This is my dreamcar- everyone else's nightmare :gr_hail:

- 1995 LSC
- Male, 32
- Doesn't get driven much during the week. Maybe 40 miles. Weekends, it depends what's going on.
- It's comfy and quiet.
- Traction control is useless, rotting oil pans, thermostat location and no down-low torque.
Rating - ****

1993 -year/model

Male 44

10 m/d (but average over 20k per year) Mostly Highway

I like the power, the looks, and i actually really like that they quit making them....but only for the selfish reason that there are no 2005 mark8's making mine look older.

I dislike that mine didn't come with true duals, and the damn blend door

***** There is no other car I'd rather be driving (in my budget of course)

Less hair! How would that be possible?

I didn't want any of the ladies on the board to know my true age because they might have some daughter's I would be interested in and I wouldn't want to scare them off knowing I was old enough to be their daddy.
