Power Antenna goes down, but not up.

My antenna doesn't go up on turning on the radio. I can go an manually pull it up. When I turn the radio off, it goes down. The mast seems perfectly fine. It seems odd the the antenna only goes down. At least it has power.

Can you hear the motor run when it's supposed to go up? If you can, you might need a new mast. Easy to change. Easy to pull motor and check it on the bench.

For everyone's enlightenment, it was the Power Antenna Module that failed, part F3DF-19A394-AA for my '95. It is located behind the glove box. It's a white box attached to the bigger blue box that controls the airbags.
