I have a Gold 1990 Mark VII LSC that has 64,000 miles on it.
I changed the alternator and had a crazy power surge that actually blew my headlights and fog lights. Once I changed the bulbs i realized the headlights/park lights wont shut off. So i pulled the light switch and they went off. Then put a brand new one in and still the same problem. So i unplugged all the switched from the dimmer to the timer and still the light wont turn off until i unplug the main window switch. High beams work fine when its plugged in, and now it rained here and noticed my windshield wipers wont turn on. I did notice during the power surge the wiper fluid pump was going nuts and spraying all the fluid out and that still works fine but the wipers wont turn on now. I put the original alternator back in and still the same results i even changed the voltage regulator and still all the same no wipers and the lights won't shut down unless i unplug the main switch (new battery).
any help would be great!!! I am ready ton sell this car and get another one....
