A passenger-side brake lamp is out. I moved the trunk liner aside and removed nuts from four screws protruding from the inside corner of the trunk. I thought I would then be able to remove the red plastic lense housing the lamps but nothing seemed to come loose.
I replaced a brake lamp years ago on the driver's side and I thought this was all I did to access the bulb. I have banged the screws from which I took the nuts with a hammer but nothing happened. Do I just need to bang harder? As it is, my tapping from the inside of the trunk knocked a turn signal light out of its socket.
Thanks,
Robert
