Project SOCOLD build thread

After two months of going back & forth with the wife & myself plus now finally having extra money I've decided to finally start modding the LS. She's a 2000 LS8 with 160,000 was thinking about getting an 06 but can't bring myself to part with my current car plus NO CAR NOTE!! Originally I was just going to restore my headlights and install angel eyes, however in the process of heating the glue I turned the oven up too high & it melted the bottom plastic of the headlight & made a big mess I was PI***D but I eventually got over it and a week later new assemblies with clear corners along with 8k hids & clear corners made were @ my doorstep installed em & all my sadness went away. Tomorrow ill be putting on new outer tie rod ends & a new rear wheel bearing(I have a feeling the bearing is gonna be a b:q:q:q:q) & on my list is:
1. Intake, Stainless works headers, magnaflow cats, Bassani mufflers, magnaflow x, 4" tips & aero turbine res(mlara & big rig sold me)
2. New shocks & eibachs
3. Angel eyes, eyebrows, Gen 2 lse front bumper/ chrome mesh grille and have my car painted the brightest white I can find!
4. 20" lexani r-four wheels (closest thing I could find to vossen cv3s)
5. 2 sundown sa-12s and a Rockford fosgate t1500-1bdcp haven't really been sold on any door speakers what do you guys recommend?
I posted a "photoshop" via windows paint of the lexanis on bulls car...sorry bull lol ill post pics of my car as it is now soon. I'm trying to have everything done besides paint & front end before I deploy this summer and have even more plans for when i get back and exhaust should be done before the end if the month. Where are you getting the headers my understanding is they were no longer available

i was trying to get a group buy on headers and exhaust on stainlessworks.net but nobody went after it on another thread. the site no longer has anything for the lincoln either which sucks.

Yes that's where I was getting them from. However it's going to be a while before headers are on the top of the list. After the tie rod ends & wheel bearing new rotors are next & I am debating on buying the power stop kit from rockauto as well as new calipers painted light blue. I'm tired of seeing red on all the fart canned civics out here. this is the victim crappy iPhone pic sorry
