How do some of you feel about them in the original function they are ment for?

I mean, using them for style but hooking them up they way they are supposed to be. On when the door opens and off when the INT lights dim out.

You can get sets for around 30 bucks that have 10 pods with various styles of LED's. String them up under the car and tap the wire into the door panel lights on the bottom of the door. There is other ways of hooking them up, I may hook them up to the spot for the mirror lights and a switch just for play but I dont wanna get them till my car is slamed practicly to the ground..

Where would you get them? This looks like a very cool idea.

I was thinking about doing the puddle light mirrors and using amber for the LED in those as well as for the puddle lights on the bottom so they match the flow of amber ( turn signals and bumper lens ), but I think it might end up hard to get them to match the right color amber and such so I'm going with the brightest white I can find. All the other colors ad such would be to tacky like under body tube lights and crap, I'm not a big fan of those kinda things but since these are supposed to serve a purpose I guess they can be allowed.

I like those to DTX but I think that might be pushing it for me

You can easily hook them up to the light on your door panel. Or hook them up like the puddle lights on the tech article for the mirror upgrade on LSKONCEPTS.

I wish I knew what kit that GS has cause those look realy nice!

Any recomendations for a flush mount puddle light in the side skirt?

Regardless of what you go with you almost always have to make them flush yourself anyway. Just make sure they are tucked in cause they look bad if you can see the whole mount but look good when you can see just the light coming from the bulb.

the thing is the LS already has lights under the mirrors so i think it would look weird with that light on and the puddle lights on @ the same time.

Well, not exactly. Your LS might have lights under the mirrors, but not all of them do.

Those are very nice.... Would love to do that. If someone does....do a write up please :)

I like my puddle lights, just wish they were not so yellow. I might change them out to a bright white. What's the easiest way to get the puddle lights out from under the mirrors?

hello,
I have LSE side skirts and would like to flush mount some leds in them for the puddle lights. Any suggestions on what to get for flush mount lights - either screw in or snap ins
Thanks

Here is your answer

If its the tucking in that you are concerned about I would just use snap ons and mount them from above the side skirt so they sit flush with the side skirt and arent visible, the bolt on ones are easy to use but require more skill as they may not sit up in the side skirt enough to be hidden.
