Putting the Mark up for sale.

We actually installed a soul in it. It's car port even sounds like a Cylon Raider
 
well, it was just an idea. like I said, I wish it was a few months from now b/c I would get rid of my 98 and snag this off you. Sorry to hear that you have to do this. You have a lot of blood sweat and tears into that car. I know how that is bro! Think positive,things will work out for the best.
 
Can you get rid of any more bills first? Cancel your cell phone, cable, etc. Man if all else fails you can file bankruptcy and maybe keep it.

I sold my beater (it had big issues anyways, but sold it for the same I paid for it 5yrs ago) and I put my Lincoln mostly back to stock(ish) and made it my DD when I was off due to some surgery for an extent period. I quit smoking too (that was almost $300/mth right there!). So I know how you feel... Sorry you need to sell and hope things get better for you :(
 
swallow your pride and go apply at walmart, home depot, lowes, anywhere for now so you can keep the damn car. even stocking shelves at the grocery store at night pays pretty damn good if you get on a night crew.
 
seriously bill ur car is what inspired me to get all the things i have for my car i mean ask rich/jamie / anyone on here ull regret it ... put it to u bluntly i totaled my car and im siting here on my couch searching for a gen 2 for the right price and i have 4000 in parts and nothing to put them on and it kills me that u wont go and get a job and try to save that car... due go to long horn and apply :q:q:q:q were hiring good people and its great money and thats what i do but it pays my bills and takes care of home and taught me how to budget and save and ive been doing that for the last 6x years

Look folks, I live in a town of 320 people. The nearest town with anything is 22 miles away. I have searched and been turned down at Walmart (that was an ego blow) and many other places that were obviously below my skill level. I would even dumb down my application but after speaking to the managers they would ask me why I was there after they realized I could hold a thought and was aware of things happening around me. :lol:
Other then that places around here are closing left and right, not a great area to live in I guess. These are the reasons I gave up and decided the best thing was to start my own buisiness and move the hell out of this one horse town.

At any rate I may have found a solution to my problems but wont be definate till next week. Should work out though and allow me to keep the car. Since I only have to worry about getting a couple hundred before the months out now I should be ok.
I just didnt want to start getting bills behind so figured I would sell the car before that happened but as I said, if this thing pans out next week then I will be ok. :)

Thanks for all the well wishes and offers of help. You guys are like family. Also, if it turns out I do have to sell it then it appears it will be going to someone on here that has been here quite a while so the car will still be here. :)
 
Thats it! I am selling my 98 and holding on to the money till yours goes up for sale;) LOL! Seriously, good luck laser with you situation. I would still like first crack at buying your car down the road (2 or 3 months) if you still want to sell it or still have it by then if you want.
 
Good luck man, really hate that you have to make a decision like this. :(. I hope you figure out some kind of alternative.

That is encouraging, I always say, be patient, great things come to great people. The road may look dark, but eventually a street lamp appears out of nowhere. Good luck on that venture and hope that it supplies you with enough capital to get you by for a while.

Bill, how far are you from DFW international, or Love Field? Maybe you can go to the website of the various carriers, and apply for a Ramp Agent or Customer Service Agent position. How about the various cargo carriers in Dallas?

I have first crack it. If it came down to it I would return my toolbox and sell my car before i let that car be sold.

I do right now, should have my taxes in a week or so if the .gov doesn't delay this year
