Almost 2 years later and so far so good. No issues at all.

Had them on all 3 of my LS's since 2000, not a single complaint.

springtech springs

do you have a camber kit for the rear and where could i find it.

the rear is not adjustable - and no kits exists. They should be able to get it within 1 degree during your re-alignment - which is close enough.

springtech springs

how can they get it within the degree if the rear is fixed or not ajustable, you must mean the front, because i travel alot and i would not like to change the tires too often.

i don't want to buy the springs if i have to change the tires every 3-4 months

right - rear are not adjustable - should land in about a degree negative camber. the fronts can be adjusted to within that range.

If you go lower - like 2" with Intrax - you be more like 1.5 degrees out.

how good is the ground clearance with a 1 or 2 inch drop? I travel on the freeway alot with about 3-4 people in my car. and I dont want sparks to fly so do you guy have problems like: geting your car on ramps, awkward angled parking lots, dragging on speed bumps etc etc. I had a mustang with jamex 2inch drop and I dragged evertwhere

How straight forward is the install? Is it as simple as removing the struts, compressing the spring and installing the new spring? I had a guy at a shop tell me that I would need to change to shorter struts/shocks because of the new springs. Is that BS?

I think the V6 is lowered more than the V8. Springtech claims only a 1" drop. Well, should that be the case, my car starts out low already. I have to creep over speed bumps, and with the car full of people or cargo, I have been known to shed sparks over especially rough sections oh I-5 just north of downtown L.A. Ranps are also an issue. So are garage racks. I did check the difference between my '06 and lowered '00 V6. My '00 is 2" lower than the '06. That tells me that the V6 (base anyway) starts out about an inch lower than the V8.

Mike - I know you have a weird situation - I did go to a dealer lot - the V6s and V8s were exactly the same height - all lined up fender well to fender well.

Ahhhh, but Lou. Did you measure them? The 2001 V6 we traded-in was only an inch taller than my lowered V6. Wierd, huh??? Are you talking '03+ LSes???

Yep - I went to measure how much my car was lowered - I never got a good measurement 'before' a lowered it.

So I went to the lot and measured a few 'new' LSes they had - so I could get a good stock reading. this was back in late 02.

Part of the difference with my car I believe has to do with the 245/45 tires as well.

springs

is there a big difference between the V-6 and v_8 springs.

thanks
