Okay. I just got my 05 LS8 up and running, and I have a few issues to resolve! where would someone find a fan shroud for the LS, without taking a vicious beating at ford, and what's the general damage on replacing the "AC Filter"? I have moderate mechanical knoledge, but it eludes me where this thing is, but the ECM seems to love to tell me about it.

does anyone have a tan dash with airbag, or a drivers side tan seatbelt assy? :)

Your best bet for the fan shroud is probably the junk yard or off a car someone is parting out.
As for the AC filter - if it's the one that keeps popping up in your message center, it's just the cabin filter and it's located behind the cowl - below the windshield on the passenger side.... I think the filter itself runs about $30 if I remember correctly...

The last time I did mine, I found the filters on sale at Advance Auto locally for $12.95 ....stock up time! Rock auto should have them for a decent price as well.

Errrr.... What? The shroud is part of the fan assembly. Can't have one without the other. Is yours just damaged somehow?
It's fairly easy to find the Gen2 electric fans in junkyards and on ebay. Budget $150 to $200. The Gen1 hydraulic ones run closer to $300, so count yourself lucky.

It's not a terrible job, but not easy either. The DCCV is mounted to the shroud, as well as the A/C receiver/drier. Might need to disconnect the upper rad hose. Just two bolts hold the fan to the radiator, then it slides straight up and out.

Right...
So! Where can I download a wiring diagram, or maybe a chiltons, do you guys have a download tucked away somewhere? :)
