Questions on Switchin to LSE bumper from ls and other questions??? PLEASE HELP!

i have a 2001 lincoln LS. I currently have a stock from bumper on my ls that came with it. I am looking to switch the the LSE bumper. I do not no what bumper i need to get but here is a picture of what im looking for... Could somebody please tell me what year LSE bumper and gen. i need to get, also a website or buisness would help. i been looking at lskoncepts but untill ik what one is the right one i dont wana order anything. Please help me! thanks and i am new to this website so i dont really know how this whole thing works yet.:confused:

also does anybody know where i can get a ALL chrome LSE grille that will fit my 01 LS, or if anybody has one for sale could you let me know! thanks!!
 
That's a gen 2 (03-06) LSE bumper. Here's what you need

Bumper 4W4Z17D957AAB $336.61
Chrome Trim 4W4Z17C829AA $108.91
Fog Lights 4W4Z15200AA (2) $55.40
Fog Light Bracket Left 4W4Z15266BA $37.14
Fog Light Bracket Right 4W4Z15266AA $37.14

LSK (shipped) $893.99

Also, the all chrome grille is made out of 2 different grilles. The hard part is finding a 2 piece gen 2 grille.
 
That's a gen II LSE from 04 and 05. It also came on all 06 models.
 
Also in case you didn't know, there will be gap between the bumper and your headlights unless you change to Gen 2 headlights. It's a small gap so it depends on if you can live with it or not.

The grilles are interchangeable from year to year. They are color matched available from the dealer. They may be back-ordered. You can make your own by purchasing chrome molding from a place like Auto Zone or Pep Boys and attaching it to the vertical and lower surround parts of the stock grille.
 
I think he's talking about the all over chrome grille that is made with a gen 2 grill and a LSE grill. The one like Hylife use to have on his car. Then again he could be talking about an regular LSE grill.

I think he means the grille you make by using the chrome surround from a gen2 grille and the chrome center part from a gen2 lse grille, combining both chrome parts to make a 100% chrome grille. Too much chrome in one area for my taste but it is a clean grille if you're really into chrome.
 
so what im looking for is a generation 2 03-06 LSE bumper? and it should fit right even though its not the right year? i dont wana spend a couple hundred n get a new bumper and it doesnt fit...

It will fit but there will be a gap as some before had said. Between the headlights and bumper.

You will need new fog lights and fog light supports.

Quite a bit more than a couple hundred based on the rundown provided above.
 
i dont see how it can be that much i found a brand new bumper wholesale 241$ and most likely i can find the fog lights and the brackets at a salvage yard
 
Careful it's not one of those scam websites. They have the part in "stock" but you never get it or hear back from them
 
that's true, whats a cheap website i can find one..besides ls kocepts.. i like that website but they are very pricey!
 
You can check these guys out at www.TeamFordparts.com. They use to sell it as a whole kit. You can call them and see if they still do. I've dealt with them a few times and they are real good. Your chances of finding the fog lights and brackets and a junk yard is going to be very slim I think. There are more gen 1 and gen 2 LSes in junk yards then there are LSEs. You might as well buy everything new. You can get everything from www.Tascaparts.com which is where I ordered all my parts except for the bumper. Search the forum, the parts numbers have been listed many times by myself and others. Then just go to the website and put them in to get accurate pricing.
 
whats the site you can get the lse bumpers cheaper someone posted it here awhile ago

Umm ya DONT TRUST THEM. ive repeatedly called them and sent email just to try and confirm they actually exist and well from my searching(and thanks to others here) they dont.
Just go with Tasca, i plan on doing this conversion as well and should be ordering the parts myself here in the next week.
((mine is the 02LSE bumper and im changing to the gen2LSE due to the IMPOSSIBILITY to find a gen1LSE) stupid chunks of ice on the freeway destroyed mine))
there will be some more info and pics posted there about this conversion process, really nice pics that give you a good idea on the "gaps" by the headlights in the link below. Thanks again to all the ppl who helped me.

So this list is all that is required to upgrade an '02 LS to the 03-06 LSE bumper? Just ditched the LS and cracked the bumper, thanks for everyone's help here.

Yup unless you want the gen 2 lights. If you want gen 2 lights add a gen 2 header panel to the list, along with the 2 headlights, and maybe light harnesses.
