Hey all,
I'm helping my dad work on his '97 LSC. Normally I'd do a search, but since we're in a hurry, I figured I'd just post - please don't crucify me. We're attempting to replace his fuel filter.
What's been done:
-Already unplugged the fuel pump, and ran the lines dry.
-Fender liner has been half-removed, giving us access to the filter.
-Plastic clips retaining the fuel lines have been removed (and amazingly, didn't break upon removal)
-8mm bolt holding spring clip has been removed.
My question: Having done this job before, on a '94 base Mark VIII, I bought the fuel line disconnect tool (and swore at the car trying to get the tool to work.) Therefore, I'm asking, do I need to use the disconnect tool again, or will the lines come off a different way?
Thanks,
Jake
