The T-Bird's suspension was designed more as a boulevard cruiser than a sports car. IIRC, the 'Bird is heavier so is probably not any quicker than the LS.

My Mom had an 05 Thunderbird for a few years. It was a really nice car, but like LS4me said the suspension is setup softer than the LS, plus the convertible body takes a lot of rigidity out of the chassis. Felt pretty similar acceleration wise, just a little slower.

That front grill makes the biggest impact on the LS I think. Definitely looks good in white.
