Ford Premium Sound radio abruptly started delivering only static instead of music on AM & FM.

2) also green power-light no longer comes on, however
3) amp & speakers work from the cassette player fine.

4) wondering if it could be broken or disconnect antenna cable
Is there easy way to do that?

I have a 89 tc and have tried 4 radios before I found a good one and the am dont work on that one. and I think the amp is half dead also, none had any right channel sound.
