Differential fluis is criticsl to kerp wheels rotating.
Performance shops will Aziil snd FFRP FRICTION MODIFIER, perfectly quiet gear box.

Remind me again where exactly is the transmission filter on an LS equipped with a Getrag 5-speed manual transmission.

Come on,... The filter goes right behind the muffler bearing, next to the T5 housing. Remove transmission and clutch first though.

I see so to replace a $20?? transmission filter the procedure is:
1 - Remove transmission
2- Remove clutch
3- Find filter next to the 'T5' housing
4- Replace filter
5- Install clutch
6- Install transmission

I would nominate this for either the most inefficient maintenance routine for the LS. - OR - the biggest pile of excrement ever on this board.
