Rear plate surround?

First off, has anyone seen or own one of the rear plate surrounds from lskoncepts.com? And if you have or do, what do you think and do you have a picture available?

Here is a picture of one on a silver LS:

The painted rear surrounds that are on my website originally came on the 2002 Lincoln LSE in Black, Silver Frost and Silver Birch. They will fit any 2000-2002 Lincoln LS as they are interchangeable. Lincoln changed the design in 2003.

Ken do you have that spoiler or know where to get it .....I found one on ebay called the M3 style but It does have a pic of it on the ls I know they are all probally 3m tapped

You can get them at www.spoilerdepot.com. That's where I got mine. I had to drill four holes into the deck lid to make it mount correctly. The OEM version used only double sided tape.

heres mine. i bought a surround off ebay and took it to my painter and had it painted for 40 bucks. so i still have the other one i might wanna sell it.

How do you remove the plate surround?

the rims are mega 960s, 20x8.5, tires are 235-45-20 nitto n55.

removing the rear surround: take the trunk liner off, and youll see about 6 nuts take them off and pull off. theres some very sensitive clips so dont yank. its pretty easy to do just do rush it or youll break the clips. sorry i would be more specific but its been a while

In 2002, Lincoln color matched the rear surrounds to the colors offered in the LSE that year. They were Black, Silver Frost and Silver Birch. The rear surround is available in chrome too.

do u have the lse, that was the only car it came on. other than that you can have yours colormatched at any good paint shop

i just assumed it was. i do not have an lse, just a 00 sport...dark green. guess thats why it "looks" color-matched.

How do you remove the plate surround?

I recall that you loosen the leading edge of the inside trunk lid cover by popping the plastic pins, then you'll see the attachments that hold it on. Took ten minutes. I removed mine and took it to a body shop that had done some work for me previously. He shot it for me at no charge.
