Rear Radius Rod---Passive steer delete---Fabrication help

tijoe asked "What is your plan...Let me know if you find 1/2" ". That definitely was directed towards Cammer since your picture has the part installed and you would have already found the bolt ...

Ugh, my bad, sorry tijoe!
Thought there was going to be bitch fest about the DEEZA links. (which I don't have an opinion on as of yet due to not having driven it yet)

For the inner end I'll use a clevis and an appropriate Heim if the necessary range of movement requires it. This IS a work in progress.

Pieces about all ordered. I'll post pictures when I get things a bit more together.

From this point forward I'll post about this in the HP section under 'Land Speed LS'.

Most of the parts necessary to assemble the rods have either arrived or are in transit.

I've kind of gotten used to the rear steer. It *DOES* take some getting used to but it allows you to apex a turn harder one you are used to it. It still feels weird though.

Yeah...... Feeling the car rotate around you (the driver's seat) takes some getting used to; kind of like the cooled seats!! *Did I pee my pants? If so, why is it cool???*

The biggest problem for me is that the line between traction and fish tailing just becomes that much smaller. A lot less room to mess up and still recover without just spinning out.

At least the LS stays flat during a spin out which makes it easier to handle.

Very true. Don't ask how I may, or may not, know.......

I don't have them but I work at a Ford dealer, Over the summer I dubbed them "swamp a$$ finders"

Update---

In order to create the inner end of the rod, I've opted to use Heim joints. I didn't find a mount to bolt to the existing easily and ordered a piece of mild steel tubing that could be cut to make what I have in mind. But UPS is so screwed-over that they've failed to deliver it on several occasions now. The work to make the mounts will take about ten minutes each. The cost for the stock is about 41 cents.

Any updates on you custom rear radius rod? Month+ has passed and no updates?

It took forever to finally get the square tubing actually delivered. And then I realized that my fabricating tools, including my chop-saw, were buried in my storage unit. I'm, at present, carrying all the parts around in my back seat while I deal with an extended work schedule. I'll finish it up before too long and show everything here.

I have been wanting to post a few images of the Custom Toe Rods built up and installed.
