remove lower door moulding

ok guys this is a easy one, on a '97 Mkviii, passinger side, lower door moulding, how to remove the moulding, is it screwed on, snapped on, glued on or what? any help will be appreciated

thanks Slow, i tried to gently pry it loose but it seems to be held tight, what do think???

Start at one end and slip some dental floss underneath and pull down the length in a sawing motion, that should work well. Then remove any leftover adhesive and clean and re-apply new stuff.

The big chrome pieces on the side of my 95 look pretty bad. Is there anywhere to get new ones or restore the old ones?

I bought that trim from a seller on ebay (beelibala168), easy to install, you just start at the ends, it 'tucks' into the ends, carefully pry it and pull it off gently, clean up the surface and install the new stuff-I just checked and he does not have any listings currently, but if you go on that site and email him he might be able to direct you to where you can get some, or maybe he can get it for you, seems like he sells a lot of that stuff.
