So, I live in florida and we dont need front plates. For some reason, either the dealership or the factory put a bracket on the front of my nav. It looks terrible and it needs to come out. Ive done this before on my last caddy, it left 3 holes in the bumper from the pop rivets. I filled them in with bumper plugs and it looked fine. However, on this nav, the holes appear to be larger. Has anyone attempted this yet, and perhaps can shed some light on the topic?

I drilled mine out with a 3/16" drill. If the rivets start to spin, you can pull on the bracket to put pressure on them. It does leave holes, but still looks better than the dumb bracket. Eventually I got lucky and somebody crashed my bumper. When they put the new one on, I had the body shop fill the holes on the new bumper. Now it has a very clean look!

Thanks! I should have replied to my own post about a month ago. I had the dealership drill them out. Then I got body pins, painted them the same color as the car, and popped them into the holes. Looks much better!
