Replacement of basic BOSE stereo on 2004 Escalade?

Hello,

I am just registered since I recently got a 2004 Escalade. It has a basic BOSE stereo which I like to replace it with a large (7") color screen TV-DVD one. I just want to get your experience with upgrade to original Escalade one with NAV option and any possible non-original ones without any silly look on the dashboard after the installation.

Welcome!! To help you out, I am providing a link to another forum I frequent for my Avalanche. Since the Av and Escalade's are very similiar and there are several people on there that have gone insane modding and upgrading there systems, I think you will be able to find some specific information.
