I have an 02 lincoln ls V8 with flowmaster super 44s already installed where the original mufflers were, but I feel like it isn't as loud as I want it to be. Would removing the resonators make it sound any better/louder or would there be too much drone with this setup? Everything else is stock except the mufflers

On my 05, I replaced the muff ( In the tunnel ) with a Flowmaster 40 series and had them remove the resonators. Sounded good but there was a noticeable drone at 50-55 mph...Crank the radio up and the drone could not be heard.
I went back after driving around the block a time or two and had them put the resonators back on.
Still sounds good, a little quieter and the drone, still there, just not as noticeable.
