Resetting after oil change

I, too, have a reset problem. It's just that my oil is no problem, but the cabin filter warning stubbornly refuses to change. Same details as spoken of here, but different function.

Ive never heard of any issues besides the tabs from breaking off and having to pull the center out to fix it.

matter fact one side of mine broke so theyre just hanging on by a thread and chillin.

Got pissed and "tapped" the buttons....tabs now broke! Just hooked up button assy and tapped the reset about 40 times and FINALLY got the thing to reset. Now to rebuild the tabs!

My LS Does the same thing.. Pisses me off everytime I get in i get CHANGE OIL !! Im like wtf.. Press reset and it jumps to air filter.. idk what to do
