Reverse boost!

That's about as bad as that Camaro/Firebird one where the guy thought he could skip right past the super/turbocharger and route the exhaust right back into the intake.

I still think the guy who tried to port and polish his A4 engine by dumping sand in the intake takes the cake.

lolololol, nice yup the engine stops running and spins the other way to back your car up, thus pulling in air through your exhaust and blowing your exhaust out through the air filter, makes sense to me!! and yes the DEI set up was great, the stupid kid thinking everyone was "jay" not to mention some of the best quotes of all time
"shut up jay!!! i know its you, why dont you grow a sack to my face"
"go take a short walk on a long pier"
" i know how cars work"
yup i posted that link over here, its funny cuz now its gone and you need to be a member of their sight to even log in (i did and that entire thread is gone)

Couldn't of been better timing, I needed a good laugh today. I shared this with the Acura Legend forum as well

holy sh1t!!!!! quoted from original poster, post # 27
"wow, lots of replies already, thanks guys

Real reason I'm asking because a friend is getting a 93 Corvette and he wants to race me. I said we can race to 30 mph because I think if I go from reverse I'll get better weight transfer and beat him, but I'm concerned about making full boost since the turbocharger will be spinning backwards.

It has to be a joke... the kid wants to race backwards up to 30mph against a Vette and then says later he did an experiment to see if his thoughts were correct. He place a balloon on the tailpipe and went in reverse and said the exhaust pipe sucked the balloon in, then he went forward and the exhaust shot the balloon back out thus proving his reverse engine theory.

So according to him our intakes spit out exhaust in reverse and our exhaust sucks in fresh air.

Pretty sure the OP was kidding. I noticed in the replies, someone was talking about their motor cycle doing it - mine and my dad's Yamaha 2 strokes would sometimes run backwards - i stalled at a light once, kicked it over, went to pull off on green and nearly hit car behind... i was like WTF? Lol.

2 strokes can, cuz it fires each time the piston is at TDC but a 4 stroke has to be built to run "backwards" oh and heres a winner

Ya, i know - was back when i was a motor cycle noob. Man, 2 strokes rock! No power... no power... FULL POWER... and a cloud of blue smoke! Lol.
