If i already have tires size 245/35/20 on my rims will i be able to change to a 265/35 on them with no problems?

265/35/20 is gonna be very wide for the LS. What size are your wheels? 20x8.5? if so then you can maximum put 255s on it, but usually most LSs with 20s rub with 255/35/20. Of course it depends on the offset but that's the usual. If your offset is 48 or 50 or so you probably would be ok with 255s, but if your wheels have offset of 40 which most LS 20s do, you have to stick to 245s. If you desperately want wider tires, try 255/30/20, although the sidewall is very small, but I don' think that they will rub much.

If you got 20x9 you can fit 265/30/20s on the wheels, but they will be just ridiculeslly wide for the car.

i'm not trying to make the sit wider, but i'm looking for a little more cushion on my ride cause 245/35 kinda feels like a buggy ride. maybe a taller tire size?

245/40/20 will rub as it's much taller. 255/35/20 is a little bit taller but is most likely to rub. Try lowering your air pressure, that will soften the ride a little. Don't lower it too much, because it will be easier to damage the wheels.

Other than that you can't do much, you can get softer shocks, maybe from non sport model if your LS is with sport package.

Actually the ride with 20s is not that bad, I just switched back to my stock 17s with 255/45/20 tires and the diffence in comfort is minimal, but the looks are GONE..
