offset seems like it wouldn't be right for that car seeing how both of the cars those wheels come from are fwd/awd

the mark viii/tbird/cougar have awkward fwd offsets already i do believe.
not saying they would fit, we are awkward, much different than say a mustang.
Not sure. I know the offsets are different but i'm sure with some adapters they could work. it was just an idea. i'm trying to keep the car as stock seeming as possible. havent really found a rim set that i feel fits the car. trying to keep it simple, not too flashy and i want it to look like lincoln would have shipped from the factory that way

Look into some of the ls wheels. They will require some thickish spacers as i've heard they sit to far into the wheel wells and don't look right w/o them. The majority of ls wheels are 17".
W/o researching I believe the wheels you listed are 4.5x5. You'd have to figure out the offset of above wheels and see if you can find a way to make them fit with a x.xx" adapter.
