Ok here's the spec: 2001 LS V8 8.0" differential case, 8.8" 02' Mustang GT 28 spline Lsd, 8.0" 3.58 ring and pinion. So here's the question, I'm about to redo my rear end and I came across a site that specializes in drivetrain parts. What I need to know is if this part is compatible with my current set up specifically if it will bolt up to my 8.8" 28 spline lsd. The specs are listed below.

SPECIFICATIONS:
• RG DIAMETER 8""
• 10 7/16" X 20 RH THREADED RING GEAR BOLTS
• PINION DIAMETER 1.188" 25 SPLINES
• NO CASE BREAKS
• AXLE SPLINE COUNT 28
• 10-Drop Out Style

Ford 8" Performance(3.80 Ratio)
$188.95
F880380
RATIO: 3.80
MANUFACTURER: Motive Gear Performance
MATERIAL: 8620 Heat Treated Alloy
CASE BREAKS: NONE

WTF, is that a typo or did you just stumble across something special?

Its for the old solid axle 8" Ford rear, came in Mustang 2's and other cars of that era, been discussed before, wont work.
