Has anyone left seafoam in their engine for a couple of hours before burning it out, instead of 15-20 minutes? Is this inadvisable? Talked to a guy who said he always let his seafoam treatment sit for hours.

I would think after a couple hours it would leak down into the oil.

Leaving it in the Oil is not a problem.. they recomment adding to the oil during an oil change to help lubricate the lower half until pressure builds when the engine is cold.,

Seafoam...

Seafoam

Good enough Product.

Exactly. I dont recall saying it was bad. In fact I put in my oil also, but before the oil change.

i was curious if it was bad to let it sit that long or more beneficial.

Honestly the only thing that I would think wud mess up would be the cats if ur still running them if u let it sit to long and the cats rnt warmed up........I've used it on my car and it actually helped open up my imrcs since it ate the carbon up around them

Oh ya, never thought about cool down. This is suppose to be done with a warm engine for a reason.

Is is bad that I recognized the engine in the video as an escort engine before I even played the video?

No it just means u know ur cars or wut powertrain goes where
