Hi all, new to the site and to the Lincoln LS. I have a 2000 LS v8. I want to know if I can reset the seat memory to the default. Then I can set it to what positions I like.

Any help is appreciated.

pepperman, Thanks. Hopefully when I get up to speed on the LS I will be able to offer some help as well. Pics coming shortly.

I don't think there is a "default" for the seat settings; even if there were, why would you want to go through the extra step? Just put the seat, mirrors, pedals, and steering wheel (or any applicable combination of these) where you want them and save the setting.

If your car didn't come with one, you can get a PDF copy of the Owner's Manual in the Tech Section, which is pinned to the top of the LS forum.

hey sooner. pedals? dont tell me im missing something or did they add this in 03+ models. my 00 doesnt have this correct?

Yeah, I think the power-adjustable pedals were one of the new features for '03. Obviously, that's not applicable to johnnytech's '00...

Yea, I was just thinking the same thing. I'm assuming it's something on the 03+ model. On the similar topic, my car at times loads the seat settings I have saved. At other times though it doesn't load the settings. Any idea on what may cause it? I haven't been able to notice any pattern for it working and not working.
