I have had enough! This has absolutely been the worst car I have ever owned. A maintanence nightmare. I love the styling, the ride and the power the car afforded...but...it is completely unreliable! The N* is a nightmare! I will never own another Cadillac I'm afraid.
After owning the car for less than a year the head gaskets let go. I spent over $4300.00 on a "new" engine. Only to find out it was a used engine with unknown miles. Just 4 months after the engine was replaced I started to smell anti-freeze again and the windshield would steam up. How do I know the steam wasn't from the a/c? Because the a/c quit. The power antenna quit, the light under the hood shorted out and caused blown fuses on the left side of the car. It was always something with this car.
So, yesterday I traded it in for of all things a Ford! Geez, the heat around here must be getting to me. I went to the lot hoping for a Grand Prix GTP. Someone had already started a deal on it so they couldn't do anything with that one. I looked at a Grand Am GT...same story. Then my son (who works in the parts dept) pointed out a 2001 Mustang Cobra. So I bought it.
What the hell? Is it really a sin to park a Mustang next to your Corvette in the garage?
