Seen an old friend... who else has this happened to???

Finding the old plate mount that I am giving away in the previous post brought back some old memories. In 2002 I sold my beautiful 95 base model, which i did some nice work to, put the LSC front and rear bumpers, put a couple 2nd gen LSC (the rear neon ones) emblems on her, chrome directional wheels, (she came with powder coated ones), a very nice sound system, she really looked nice. Before I got around to putting the side LSC moldings on her , I fell in love with my first 97, so I sold her. last summer I seen her in a local parking lot, used and abused.. It was very hard to see her that way.. she still had the 2nd gen LSC emblems on her exactly where I put them, and I still remembered the key code to the door, but I didn’t open the door, just unlocked and then locked it, one last time…

and afer the chrome wheels and LSC bumpers, unfortunatly i can not find a pic of the front, it was soon after this i sold her ...

and here is how she sat when i found her last summer...

its hard to see in the pics, (cell phone camera) but the rear left quarter was all messed up, the rear bumper was all peeled, the seats were all ripped.. dont you wish you could just file away all your old cars, keep em all!!!
anyone else have any similar stories???

i had this 91 ram in perfect shape, sold it a few months ago. i saw it in a parking lot a week ago with the back full of crap and massive dents in the body.

I had a 91 escort gt that i bought off ebay and a parts car. The car was a red auto gt. Anyway the ccar was totalled, it had hit a guard rail and destroyed the whole right side. Swapped the fender and door and replaced the quarter panel, replaced the spoiler, And the gt ground effects. RepAinted the car and replaced the tail and headlights. New headliner, upgraded stereo, and maintained it. I drove that cAr as my college car for just over 2 years without 1 single problem; the car had 150k on it. Anyway found my 95 sho and decided to sell the escort. Sold it to some kid, made him A really fair deal but i guess he was not mechanically inclined and he abandoned the car in a gated community. I found the car at one my regular junkyards, all keyed up and mutilated by the custrs at the jy... I have pics of it in the jy somewhere. That car deserved better. O well...

Not that anyone cares because I'm not helpful and all I do is talk :q:q:q:q, but I had a camero that my brother and put together with a 383 stroker. A week after I sold it, the kid drove it off a three foot embankment. I was bummed that even had to sell it and then to have my Dad's friend call me and say it was a his tow yard and done for was horrible.

man my conti. i had a perfect 97 conti. i sold it to buy the mark i have been building. i couldnt get i title for a month (long story). when he came to get it the car was in 4x4 mode on one side and on the ground on the other. the front left fender had a big gash and right rear fender was all crumbled up. then he had the nuts to ask if i would pay for the air bags. he looked me straight in the eyes and said "I havent hit anything. the air bags just went out." I handed him the title,yanked my tag off and bid him a good day. i almost puked when i saw the car. these are from the week i sold it. that jbl system is the best factory sound sys i have ever heard.

bet it is in a junkyard now
