Well, its gone.
Its a real shame, but I wound up trading it in on the new lease of a 6-speed Accord. I was really hoping to have someone buy it from me so they knew they are getting an extended warranty, and so they could get a great deal. But, I guess now the dealer gets to make even more money by selling it themselves.
The Accord is quicker, more responsive, more comfortable (both in front and rear seats), has a better stereo, and (of course) gets much better gas mileage (on regular, i might add). So far I miss the quietness of the Lincoln and the cooled seats.
If the tranny in the lincoln weren't quite so sluggish, I don't believe I would have made the switch, though. I think Ford could learn quite a bit from Volvo in that respect. My Volvo's auto tranny was the most responsive and intuitive of any I have ever experienced.
