Hey. Does anyone know how many sensors are in the cooling system, where they're located, etc.

Thanks,
Maynax's wife (and you know I need all the help I can get!)

there are a couple - a coolant temp sensor and a Cylinder Head Temp (CHT) sensor. Never heard of either going bad.

Are you overheating? if so, there are a dozen things to try first.

right. if you are getting the "instant overheating" symptom, it usually indicates that CHT is seeing the overheat condition which is 'usually' caused by air in the system.

Im having the same overheating problem, how do you solve the problem with air in the system?

do a search for bleed or burp. there's a pretty involved process I believe. haven't had to do it myself.

Not overheating. Auto Zone's check engine computer said that is the reason for the check engine light being on. Guess I'll head back there at some point.
