So what the hell are you saying?? "Oh well, I mean, it's not the haters that watch it, but they help, but that's the number two reason for the ratings, but, I mean....." You're flopping around between haters help make the ratings, and then it's not haters, it's people who like debate and want the other side. You're wrong in both instances. Last I checked, O'Reilly is over 4 mill a night and the top CNN guy, Larry King, doesn't even hit 1 mill. Ok, and me bringing up the fat chick thing. Well, I was comparing that to your rousing theory that people watch it because they hate it, much like they would hate watching two fat chicks gorge themselves on some chocolate cake. Isn't Stern the one who constantly parades prostitutes and so much other vile trash on his show that watching it for most would probably be worse than watching the two aforementioned shemales going at it. Not to mention the fact that comparing Hannity to Stern is WAY of base. Sure, people don't like him. They are the ones watching the show for Colmes. But he certainly isn't as polarizing as Stern is.
But I'll give you a chance to prove your point. Name a show that is universally detested but gets incredible ratings. Just one. And it can't be from this phenomenom of a network that is Fox News that seemed to pull this mystical trick off, when no one else could.
