I learned my "misconceptions";' from 3 tours in Iraq, and 6 months in afghanistan, there 2 sides to the Koran, the sunni, and the shiite* check it out. But this isnt about who know more about Islam, its about civilians not making my military into a place that discriminates because of someones religion, race or gender.

It's not 'your military.' It's the United States military. Get that straight. And I'm not a 'civilian,' I'm a 'veteran.' So get off your high horse.

Maybe we should keep all white people out the military because they have blown up gavernment buildings, or black people because they are drug dealers, or christians because they are known to kill people who are pro-choice. We can't afford to descriminate in todays military, maybe in the gulf war time, but the military today is different, we aren't serving with the Vientnam era vets, todays military have little to no descrimination, it has changed Foss, why go back?

Yes, clearly, you're right. Let's continue to allow openly verbal terrorist sympathizers to remain in uniform and on Army bases, because we don't want to offend anybody. That will teach us.

Get this through your pea brain: Hasan had already demonstrated that he wasn't fit to be in uniform, and it wasn't his color. It was HIS WORDS AND ACTIONS that stemmed from his muslim beliefs. He should have been booted as soon as the powers that be realized that he was a threat.
