single din question!

yah any one kno if there is a kit to convert the stock double din in the 2000.. to a single din .... i want a flip up screen with a little compartment at the bottom any help... or coments is good> thnx

thought u can just buy the din insert at like best buy, circuit city, walmart, etc and get the compartment below

If I understand correctly you are looking for a dash kit to replace the factory stereo with a single-din radio and have a pocket underneath.

Then you are looking for a Metra Dash kit part number 99-5700

Most stereos shop can order one in for you typically between 20-25. Ebay has a couple on sale right now

The trim linked above is good for putting a double din unit, but is still not a full dash kit.

I have the metra kit in mine (and have installed a bunch) it has a good fit and finish
