Smoothing the trunk hump

I asked about taking off the hump, not converting the frontend, taillights, doors, suspension, and swapping in a 2v.

You brought up the T-Bird reference, not me. I personally think it'd look like a 2 door Taurus without one.

By smoothing, i mean removing the 'hump' and having the lid smooth across, similar to the T-birds. Im looking at a gen2 rear, and it looks like it would be a matter of cutting out the center section and shaping to match the sides. or have some fun with fiberglass.

I am cutting into almost every panel on Stacks mark, and that is one thing that never even crossed my mind.... the mark is the hump!
