...So aparently 2006 LS not covered by extended coil warranty??

Hawk03, yes the dealer that I bought it from gave me a warranty that includes the coils. I called and talked to them today. My issue is that the nearest dealer in their network is 130 miles from my house. I had to travel to find the Ls that I wanted. ...and yes swapping that nav out with a pioneer single din and hacking the wiring harness was not a good sign.

Its just not worth my time to drive to a dealer in their network for warranty coil work, thats all. After I replace them, if I still have an issue then I will put all the old coils back and drop the car off to them and see what they say.

...Oh and Ford did not make it any easier to get the coil cover off on the GEN II cars lol.

So today I get P0357, wiring fault coil #7. I swapped the coil again with the other spare that I have. Lets see what happens tomorow. 8 new coils and plugs are on the way.

New coils came in. The plugs arent here yet, but I changed out the coils. It seems to be running fine now.

You could get very good plugs from your local parts store for $3 each.

I ordered the iridium motorcraft ones. 43$ for the set, so about $5 a piece for those.
