Installed my white face gauges today! :D Big p.i.t.a taking the dash apart though (i've never taken anything apart inside of a car before) my father helped me take the stuff out but i put the gauges on myself and put everything back together. took me probably 3 hours with his help and going in periodically for drinks because it was pretty humid. I got them off amazon, no need to spend $100 on gauges when they're just stickers. i love the white face gauge look, and these are the same as the oem gauges just in white with black letters.

oh don't mind the missing piece behind the steering wheel, i glued it back on after i took that picture

Looks great! The white face gauges are nice, but I also like what the odometer says too ;). I got my black 93 with almost exactly the same mileage, and it treated me right on up until the very end (besides issues with the air ride, but that's a given on these cars). You take care of her and keep her out of the ditches, and you should at least be able to put another 90k on her, no problem. No wonder that car looks so clean in your pics! It's barely broken in! :D

Oh, and I want night pics too!

I'm glad you like what you bought.

However, don't knock what you haven't seen. Just because the ones you bought are stickers, doesn't mean the ones from Temple Performance are too. Temple's actually replace the stock faces with an OEM-quality plastic face.

There have been a few members here in the past that have used the same ones you bought, with unfavorable experiences. The biggest complaint (other than the fact that they're just stickers) was that the backlighting didn't show through as well, since it now has one more layer of stuff to shine through. Good luck.

sure you did.you lost that chit behind dash! lol:D
and you wont know about your stickers until after a summer of heat in the dash, i do like the look though. the only issues with the cheapr stickers are durability, kinda like cheap tint jobs that turn purple in a year or/and bubble.

i like the way they look, same as oem but in white. i'm not knocking anything, i know what the temple and LMS ones look like, i just don't have the $$ to throw away on expensive gauges right now. my camera isn't working but at night there's really not that much light, you can see the gauges but it's not as bright as it was stock which doesn't bother me too much.
@- Dave88LSC- the 8 hp kicked in after when i drove it, felt a big difference, lol

@- the1andonlygr81- it was a huge p.i.t.a putting these in, i had to take apart the two pieces underneath the steering wheel where that little bulb lights up when you open the door because i dropped 2 screws while unscrewing the instrument cluster lol. I hope they don't get crappy after only a year but atleast now i know what i have to do if i ever have to replace them or if i want new ones. the place on amazon is an actual company, i forgot what there name was.

but all in all, as of now i love them and don't know why i didn't do this sooner. i didn't spend a lot of money at all, just a lot of my time really- so if i ever need to replace them hopefully i'll have a job and i'll buy the ones from temple performance.

That's a lesson you'll learn the more you mess with Marks, or just any car in general. You've got to factor in the P.I.T.A. factor of installation before you decide on what level of quality products you're going to buy. For example, if these stickers don't hold up and you decide to go with a higher quality whiteface kit later (I personally like the looks of the Temple kit), you're going to have to go back in the dash, pull the cluster back out, and do the job over again, and this time you'll be kicking yourself the whole time for not waiting until you could afford the good stuff to begin with. Now, I'm not saying what you bought is low quality, and it certainly looks great now, and I hope it stays that way for a good, long time. I just know from experience that sometimes, you end up regretting cutting corners.

Yeah it is lol. I definately like the way the temple ones look but for now atleast i didn't spend a fortune and even if they don't last too long, i know what i need to do in order to replace them. It was a huge p.i.t.a and will be again if i need to replace them- but again atleast for now i didn't spend a lot and i can get used to them being white

you can get any color you want from the guys on ebay I got ruby red gauges, also you have a few bubbles in your tach sticker

Its also not that great to run around with low fuel..easy way to burn the pump up

i didn't use the car at all until i went for gas, put $50 bucks worth of regular in and a full bottle of lucas octane booster. 50 bucks on regular got me close to 3/4 of a tank, if i would've filled up the whole thing with super (or premium) it'd be atleast 75 =O

wow those look really good, i just might be crazy enough to order those and replace these =O
