I ask this because I got some crap reciently from a couple friends about me doing something they said I was dumb to do.

First Brakemotive sent me two sets of Cobra rotors when I only paid for one set. I called them and told them and then ordered my rear rotors. They didnt send me the return lable for the other rotors and when I called they said just keep them. That was really cool on their part.

Well again I rented that fender roller and they messed up. They charge $50 and shipping both ways ($27.90 in my case) and you give them a $250 deposit then they refund the difference. Well they refunded me $222.10 and I could see he forgot to charge the rental fee. So I emailed him and pointed out the mistake and resent the $50. Yes I could really use the money but I am sure he does to and I wasnt gonna take $50 out of his pocket. He was very happy and thanked me endlessly.

Ive had enough bad karma in my life and want to keep the good flowing so maybe ultimatly I am just selfish but with the responses a couple friends gave it made me wonder.... "Are people just really that dishonest?"

Good for you !!!! go buy a scratch -off ticket and maybe some instant good Karma will come your way.I am a believer in what comes around goes around!!!!

What you have been doin is truly the right thing. I try to do this everyday and it does help people and they do appreciate it. I may nt have everything for it and not make the most money [an honest mechanic is hard to find] but I sleep at night [well with booze] and am peaceful. keep onkeepin on.

If you send me 50.00 your karma will improve by 50 points.
It's only good for once a week, but you can do it every monday if you like.

100% guaranteed.

I also "sell luck" at the dragstrip.. $10.00 per round, also 100% money back guaranteed.

My honesty depends on who / what I'm dealing with. :)

If a good company made a mistake that was in my favor, then I'd be honest.

Ass :p

I dont sell that stuff, sorry but I do know a fella.

I would have done the same thing I don't
want to mess with karma I like to be as honest
as I can

I'm very honest I like to think... it can be very hard sometimes...

I agree. One time i was getting pissed off at a Burger King and after I finnaly got the order I noticed the cashier gave me change for a $20 when I used a $10. I walked towards the door and was gonna leave but I started to feel bad and went back to correct it.

Two months ago I was at my bank and the teller gave me $100 extra. I walked out and thought for a second, looked at my slip and counted what was given and realized the mistake. I went back in line and went to the same teller. I pointed out the mistake and he insisted he gave me the right ammount. I asked him several times to be sure and he insisted he was right. So fine, I took the $100 and didnt feel bad about it.
He never said anything in the couple times since then that I returned.

I think I'm pretty honest (not to sound prideful) but if something comes up with money i'll make sure things are right.........to a point. If I find money on the ground it's free game. My wife is the type that would turn it into the police.

We were at Pep-Boys one day getting some stuff and my wife finds a $50 dollar bill laying in the aisle. I was like "woo-hoo" but no, she says I'm going to take this to the register and turn it in. I'm like do you really think they are going to put that in lost and found? That's going to go right into the cashiers pocket!!! What does she do, takes it to the cashier anyway. The cashier is like, Huh.....uh..ok......thanks. Of course the cashier is looking around like this --->:shifty:

Maybe I'm wrong, I would have kept it, and I think most of us would probably pocket it. My wife is a bank manager so I guess it is good she is that honest.

You did the right thing. Like it was said earlier, what does around comes around.

I'm honest but very unlucky (when it comes to stupid stuff). I'd like to think there's some reward but I damn sure know their isn't. Not sure what drives people this way.

I would have done the right thing, because that's how I would want someone to treat me. Also karma has a way of instantly hitting me ten fold for doing dishonest things.

Karma is still kicking my ass. Three weeks and $60 latter and I still dont have the correct bolts to install my brake kit. :(

I have to CONFESS,when I was 15-16 I looked 19-20 and would drive from my home near Pittsburgh over to Youngestown,Ohio and go to all the BURLESQUE SHOWS and XXX PORNO 25CENT PEEP SHOWS. I think about it once in a while and JUST SMILE

Then there was the time we lied about my ex wife's age and got married in WAHALA,S.C. She was almost 18. Later on I wished THE DISTRICT JUDGE that married us would've stopped us when he noticed her phoney BC. He was giving us a break BUT seven years later I SCREWED IT ALL UP.

i lied alot when i was little, mostly to get out of trouble with my dad, then i hit my teens and it was lie to the cops to get out of trouble, then i started dating my now wife, and spent alot of time with her, and realized i found the perfect girl, she loved being with me, we spent tons of time together, she could easily put up with me and how i was always an angry guy, but she still loved being with me, and then i cheated on her with her best friend, and for once in my life i couldnt lie, i told her, and it almost wrecked us, but, here i am 14 years later with her, and i cant lie anymore, ever since that happend i hate lieing. to anyone, about anything, it changed me alot and i have to be as honest as i can all the time now. so i guess it was a good thing. laser i dont think you are stupid at all, the world is loaded with scum bags and pieces of :q:q:q:q, no one knows honesty anymore, there are still a few of us left i guess!

Maybe he denied it so he wouldn't get in trouble.

I was at In N Out a few months ago with my girlfriend and gave the cashier, who was my girlfriend's friend, a 10 and she gave me change for a 20. I told her I gave her a 10 and she says no and pulls out a 20 from the cash register saying ''See this is the one you gave me". She was a little slow sometimes. I dont think she realized that there were 15 20 dollars bills in there and that doesn't mean I gave her one. I told her I gave her a 10 a few times and my girlfriend said to just take it so she didn't get in trouble so I did.

in a realationship i rarely lie unless its something small and stupid. if i were to get extra auto parts then i ordered i'd prob keep them if they werent to expensive. if i find money on the ground ima keep it.There was a time while waiting in line at comcast and this lady dropped atleast 100 bucks and didnt notice, i did the right thing and let her know on her way out.
